Bottles and Brushes with Degas

Art Family Food & Drink Museum Warehouse
Famous French Impressionist painter Edgar Degas certainly left his mark on New Orleans' artistic culture. Today the Degas House preserves his legend in what AAA Magazine describes as 'A Southern Travel Treasure.' Now with their new program "Bottles and Brushes with Degas," every Tuesday the public are welcome to come and be inspired in the same location that inspired some of Degas' finest masterpieces. This is a one of a kind program, where you will be provided with all of the painting supplies you need as well as a complimentary beverage. Whether you consider yourself a natural artist or not, local artist Deana Lejarza will lend her expertise and energy to help you release your inner creativity. Your night will begin with a social hour at 5:30 and then you will create your very own work of art from 6:30- 8:30 pm. So if you're ready to try something new, bring your friends or family members for a fun night out at the Degas House.

Events will commence at 5:30 PM every Tuesday, beginning with a social hour. Painting instruction will follow at 6:30 PM.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Please contact the Degas House at (504) 821-5009 to reserve your spot.
