We invite you to join us for the "Last Supper" of Ray Cannata, a fundraising event to support rebuilding efforts. Cannata will complete his quest to eat an entire meal at every restaurant in New Orleans (over 700!) at this celebration hosted by John Besh. Recently named New Orleans' Top Chef, Besh has handcrafted a menu for this special event from his restaurant and Cannata’s final stop: Besh Steakhouse. The evening will also feature live music from Rebirth Brass Band and other musical acts. Also, there will be live and silent auctions for exclusive dining packages for various New Orleans restaurants. The Last Supper will announce the first annual Crawfish d'Or awards, which will award local chefs who Cannata has deemed the greatest.

A documentary about Cannata's journey is being made titled "The Man Who Ate New Orleans," and this event will be included in the film. "To understand New Orleans, you have to understand the food," exclaims Cannata. "When I moved here, I almost immediately fell in love with the city. To understand the culture and the subcultures, I needed to start at the table. You hit every table in New Orleans, and you'll hit every story in New Orleans." The Last Supper will take place on Friday, October, 21st at 7:30 PM in the St. Charles Ballroom in the New Orleans Hilton.
